Following feedback at the last meeting, the club has ordered a quality strimmer to support maintenance work across our waters.
At the last club meeting it was requested that the club purchase a good quality strimmer to help with ongoing water maintenance.
The committee listened and actioned this. A new Stihl FS 70 C-E strimmer/brushcutter has now been ordered allong with oil and fuel tub.
The model selected includes metal blade capability, making it better suited for heavier vegetation and future work party use.
This is a good example of members raising practical suggestions and the club acting on them to improve our waters.
This has now arrived and ready for use.
